Hand crafted ballpoint pen made from 30.06 bullet shell and Cocobolo wood. An Army logo, 3/8” in diameter is attached to the chrome plated clip on the pen. The pen comes in a beautiful presentation box laser engraved with a 2” diameter logo of the U.S. Army emblem.The pen is handmade in America of only the finest materials, such as Cocobolo wood. Cocobolo is a very beautiful hardwood from Central America. It is fine textured and stands up well to repeated handling.Additionally the pens bullet case has a Powder Coating to maintain its polished Brass finish. Powder Coating is an advance method to apply a decorative and protective finish using finely ground particles of pigment or clear and resin, which get sprayed onto a surface to be coated. The charged powder particles adhere to the electrically grounded surfaces until heated and fused into a smooth coating in a curing oven. The result is a uniform, durable, high-quality, and attractive finish.Pen twists to open and close.
